Installation

Install WooAccount and confirm the portal took over correctly.

Install

In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and choose the wooaccount.zip you downloaded, then activate. There is no setup wizard to babysit: on activation the portal is live.

Verify the takeover

  • Visit /wooaccount while logged in as a customer — the portal frame renders without your theme's header or footer
  • Visit /my-account — it 301-redirects to /wooaccount automatically
  • Open WooCommerce → Status — WooAccount registers as HPOS-compatible

Deactivation is clean

Deactivating the plugin removes the /wooaccount rewrite rules and restores the native WooCommerce account area immediately. Reactivating brings the portal back. No stale state, no broken links.
