Direction & RTL

The portal defaults to LTR regardless of your site language — an Arabic WordPress does not force an Arabic portal. Direction is a setting, not an accident.

The direction setting

• LTR — always left-to-right (default)
• RTL — always right-to-left
• Auto — follows the site locale's direction

The setting is applied at the .wa-app root element and drives a stylesheet built entirely on CSS logical properties — margins, paddings, borders and alignment flip automatically. There is no separate RTL stylesheet to maintain, and icons that imply direction are mirrored automatically.
